We are pleased to announce that Ed Okorn has joined GRAS Sound & Vibration as the new General Manager of GRAS North America. He has tremendous experience as national sales manager as well as experience working with technical products and markets. He will be a key player in continuing the development of GRAS NA.
Experience as a primary driving force
Ed is a customer-focused business manager with 20+ years of high-tech sales, marketing and engineering leadership success.
He has a BS in Physics w/Minor in Math and a MBA in Systems Management/Project Planning and a proven track record in
converting technology into business opportunities within the automotive, R&D, industrial, medical, and government markets.
He explains: “My ability to effectively communicate on both technical and business levels, coupled with my proven ability to develop and grow new relationships and business opportunities will assist me in building strong customer relationships in North America.”
Developing vertical business relationships
As the new General Manager of GRAS North America, Ed has a number of long-term goals for the US market. He elaborates: “The GRAS North America team will develop vertical business relationships with our customers and technology partners for mutual success. We will also nurture existing and develop new applications where the “GRAS Value” is appreciated for partnerships and market share.”
Niels Kjærgaard, VP of Sales & Marketing, elaborates further: “Ed will play an instrumental role for GRAS in serving more customers while enhancing the customer experience in the North American market. Ed’s profound understanding of customer relations will help us to understand better the needs of this market and to provide the products this market demands.”
Over the coming weeks and months, Ed will be brought on board in our products as well as our processes and we look forward to continuing the development of GRAS NA with Ed on board.
